Should we rule out the elixer for making Elphaba green, because Liir's daughter is green and nobody took anything for that. It couldnt have been hereditery [by elixer] because if your ,let's say, your great gandmother overdosed on laxitives causing her indegestion all her life, that doesn't mean that it has any effect on you. I would start guessing that ,of course, Yackle had something to do with greeness of a child, because she was present during the baring or concieving of a green baby.

We don't know if Candle somehow got a sip of the potion and there's also the possibility that Elphaba passed her green genetics down to her granddaughter (which is very possible).

But, Dorothy took the bottle of elixer after that (@*!$!) killed Elphie. Mabye Yackle had more.Hmmmm.Oh and it would go better like

Yackle probably wouldn't have considering the Wizard was the one who brought it to Oz. Im thinking that @!#$%* Dorothy never drank any potion...

Shell I agree with you. In Lion Among men Maguire seemed to imply that Elphaba would be making a return. It would be great, if it, was in fact true.
