U can not call us illeagal, we were uhear before y'all, mexicans have been in the "US" way before any pilgrims came.

Second:
The only reason people are sneaking over the border is bcuz it takes over 10 yrs. to aquire citizenship. There are many needy families that HAVE to get across the border.
Third: The damn Cetas are a gang that kill innocent people to scare everyone, they won't harm u in the US.
Fourth:
We Mexicans have as much right to be treated equally as any white, black, ext. race.
I am still debating whether to stand during the pledge of allegiance or not, but i know if i was in Arizona i sure as hell would not.

I don't know a lot about what's going on with the immigration business but I will say a couple of things.

First, I believe it takes 7 years to become a naturalize citizen. Not over 10.

Second, Mexico wasn't Mexico until about 1821ish. So there were Native American people who were in what is now the US, but by the time anybody would have considered themselves Mexicans, the US was already established. There are laws now that make it illegal. That's how this works. If you settle a new territory, or take over an existing one, you then make the rules.

On a personal note- I have a hard time taking your post seriously when you don't take the time to type out the word "you". How you present yourself in debates* of this nature will really effect how you are treated by others.

Edit: in fact, I called his thread title stupid, not him. He got personal and "attacked" me, telling me I have psychological issues and that I was "a-lot stupid". Some one mentions 'bullying' and everyone gets hypersensitive. Noone is bullying anyone and before you acuse me of anything perhaps you should read the entire thread (all 5 or 6 posts). Entertaining these ridiculous accusations only encourages this kind of behaviour.

i dont have a problem with people discussing their opinions about immigration on this forum. but if you feel that strongly about it, then you should put in the effort of sounding like it matters to you. do you think protesters use chatspeak on their signs? no. because people won't tak them seriosly. if youre passionate about something, then do it properly. so that fact that you were lazy in your post makes me think that you started this not so much because the topis is important to you, but because you felt like started a thread about a touchy issue and starting it off with a tone of anger and ignorance. if you're serious about something, then be professional.

don't you dare try to hold you age of 12 against us either. you opened you big mouth, spewed a bunch of chatspeak all over a thread and then you expect us to treat you like an adult? with respect? i'm sure you hear this all the time, so hearng it from me will probably make you ever angrier...but...you are young. some will like you. some people will dislike you. that's now life works. that's how we know who to choose as friends, and who to spend our time with. not everyone is going to agree with you all the time. that's what keeps like interesting. if we had all come back to this thread and said "yes kike. i agree wholeheartedly with you and wouldn not change a single thing about what you ust said" then life would boring and this thread would be closed. so...we can certainly continue this discussion/debate about immigration laws. i think it's a great topic. but can we all please take a moment to understand the difference between discussion and arguement? let us discuss the topic in a professional and intelligent manner, as all touchy sujects should be dealt with.

we all have different personalities and ways to getting out point across. we also all have things that get under our skin and bug. and i actually dont have a problem if someone wants to voice that, but we should try and stay on topis and not attack peoples intelligence by calling them "a-lot-stupid". because then i will have to verbally pwn you.

Kike, think before you post. I understand you're 12 and your mental capacity for that idea isn't fully developed (and that isn't a dig against your age- it's just a fact) but before you post something like this again sit back and actually read what you're about to post. If all you meant was to say "Hey don't be racist" then say that... don't spew a bunch of other stuff that really doesn't mean that.

for sure, i'm still growing out of that stage and i'm 25 years old! the whole "think before you speak" idea is hard for me to grasp...i'm a very opinionated, strong-willed person, so i know how hard it can be to hold your tongue or not express something you feel strongly about.

the thread is made now, so that's done. but it would also fit in well under "pet peeves" or "rants and raves".

I do that too. I got myself into a lot of trouble with my friend (almost girl friend ugh i so close) because i got jealous of her and another girl and someone told me i could do better.... sigh... i ended up telling her someone told me that... stupid mistake ever... I almost lost her as a friend. We finally made up yesterday but still....

Regardless, can't a person can disagree or even question another without it being construed as a fight? I guess not. Lesson learned, Kike is following your example and is carrying on just like you, which is why you were mentioned. But I realise I am arguing with children and I am embarrassed and therefore have nothing more to say to either of you.
