Glad everyone is doing well, more or less

Witchboy, I haven't played my Wii in ages, but I just bought my mama Just Dance 2 on it for Christmas.

Newbreed, hopefully you aren't re-injured that would slow down the healing process wouldn't it?

rave: my first kiss at 18 years old,i know LAME but i'm very happy it was my boyfriend's first too since we're both each other's first gf/bf, so whatever haha

rant: i realised that i have no idea HOW to kiss. so we got caught in some weird limbo of me trying to peck him on the lips and him trying to use tongue so that was awkward :/ i felt incredibly embarrassed and stupid after but he's okay and very understanding. it's his first time too anyway so it's not like he knows any better than i do lol

oh my, that sound so niiice! your first kiss and his first kiss! thats so kewlness, it makes me happy hehe... ahhh, helen, darnit. wish i could be one of those people.

rave: i know for xmas we are definitely NOT supposed to peek in the gifts but i do, and i''ll do it again. i peeked (am i spelling that right??) in a gift bag and had to move some paper but inside was a really nice jacket with big black buttons! and it was for me, obviously, or i wouldnt be so excited ehehehe. but goshness! i wonder what else i got under that tree... i made myself promise to open only ONE more present and NOT two or three...or four... i know its very wrong, and it takes something away from opening a present on xmas day, but i can't help it.

and if im caught?

the present opened itself.

rant: shopping at jc penny, falalala

edit: i think i might try on the jacket...

Rave: Wedding on Saturday.

Rave: Getting to meet/hang out with Minxy on FRIDAY! Yay! It's about time, love.

Rave: Had a pretty great Christmas. No, I didn't get too much awesome junk, but I still love everythig I have and I loved being with family.

Rave: Helen's Christmas gift to herself. Helen, that thing is awesome.

I do have a question though. Did you wrap it and put it under the tree? That would be total WIN.

Oh, and Helen I got your Christmas card. Thanks so much for thinking of me. :-D

I'd have sent you one too, but I've never been the holiday card type. Maybe now that I'm going to be the wife type I'll have to get around to picking up the habit. It's a good one.

sneaky-little-meanie-rant: my dreams of going to disney land are becoming dim. grr. but if i believe, i will achieve! (hehe, my elementary school motto hehe...)

well actually i baught it for myself during my Boxing Day sales shopping...do you guys have boxing day? Anyway, ya...I had been wanting him for a while now and I figure if I really still wanted him after Christmas, I should just get him. Plus...I needed better knives!

You are welcome for the Christmas Card and do not worry about not sending one to me. Doesn't matter to me!

rave: got black ops for christmas
rave: had tons of family visiting for christmas; i haven't had this much family since we moved from florida, so it was great !
rant: my sister is leaving soon :/

Helen, that knife-holder is unquestionably brilliant. And we don't have Boxing Day in the States. Do you live in Canada? My sister--in-law in Canadian and we were discussing Boxing Day a couple days ago actually.

It's nice to read that yall had enjoyable Christmas holidays!

LLK, that must be cool to meet someone you've already become friends with from the internet! I've had some people I've wanted to meet a long time ago from another forum, but they live in Malta and Poland haha.

Witchboy, you should DEFINITELY strive for Disney World over Disney Land in my opinion, it's bigger and better, even though not the original.

yaw, i want disney land bc its way more closer... more closer... that doesn't sound right. anyways, can you believe my parents went to disney world for their anniversary??but im over that now, i use to be mad, but now im over it *breathing excerises* and anywho i also want to go shopping and get some new boots afterwords. (i saw some at the mall like the ones ellen page had in the movie Whip It. except one is purple and the other is lime.) btw, purple is the best color in the universe! dont argue, its already established. ;)

gaddict - yes i live in Canada. I am Canadian and I live in Canada. Boxing Day is most freaking awesome.

witchboy - (1) purple is not the best colour. orange is. this was established long before you ever graced this earth. can ya dig it? (2) i understand DLand might be closer and therefore cheaper for you to visit (the same applies to me, so I understand). BUT...do not forget that THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER is also in Orlando. Speaking as a travel professional in the travel industry, I would like to recommend that you save a bit more money and make it a worthwhile trip to DWorld and TWWOHP. No point in in wasting some money on a mediocre holiday when you can spend a bit more money on a most awesome holiday and get every pennies worth! can ya dig it?

you wrong me, madam, you wrong me... i absolutely abhor the color orange. (and yellow, i severely dislike yellow.) helen, giral: purple is always and will always be forever the best color in the past, present, and future. i can only pity your taste, tehe... hmm, and you guys are convinsing (about DW), i should definitely run that one by the parentals. my mom got paid last week so i should do it soon before she starts burning cash on something pointless, like home stuff or garden stuff. ooh yes, january third is going to be a magical time!

RANTS & RAVES COLOUR BATTLE!!!!!!!
reasons why orange is awesomer than purple:
1) the colour orange, especially when featurd in the bedroom, increases sexual energy. WHAAAT?!

2) william of orange - holland - the dutch flag was originally orange, white and blue - i am dutch - holland is awesome - so is orange.

3) orange and variations of this colour (coral, bright pink, etc) look amazing on my skin. whether its clothes or makeup or whatever..orange makes me sexier.

4) bounce scented link rollers are orange. so fresh and so clean!

5) oranges are orange. so are carrots and sweet potatoes and orange bell peppers. what's purple...eggplant? HA!

6) halloween! orange is one half of the halloween colour duo. what would halloween be if not for orange? just black? no no no.

7) my mom made me a quilt with strong orange accents and it is beautiful. better than any purple quilt i've seen!

I'm with WitchBoy on this one - detest orange and yellow but purple is among the best.

I have finally been paid from my new job so woohoo! I have money! Also I have officially taken over my charity and will be running things as we expand and merge with another charity. I am assistant stage manager for a play in February and hopefully getting into stage management and directing this year, as well as designing a new theatre building for my theatre company. And I am one step closer to a job with the BBC. Oh, and I will be moving in with the OH soon - our own place, not just staying with friends!

2011 is looking good so far.

LLK, I hope you have a wonderful day tomorrow and it's the beginning of an amazing life together. I wish you all the love and happiness in the world.

THIS IS WARRR!

Reasons the colour purple is the bestest no matter what:

1) Purple is a holloween color also, so without orange holloween would do just fine hehe.
2) Purple is a spiritual color, the color of the divine and royalty in many cultures, and in ancient greece if you wore purple you were killed (it was reserved for the gods)
3) Purple is in the rainbow lalala
4) Purple is recommended for the kitchen place because it makes you less hungry, so hah!
5) And finally if you ever look at the sun and look away you see red dots and purple dots
