I swear I just fucking give up. I'm an inch over the edge. I'm about ready to say to hell with it all and just disappear before I say some things that will really get shit started. I'm so close to just leaving all together.

Can I just take a moment to say "Rave:"

Accepted with scholarship to University of Minnesota to study oboe. EEEEEEE!

Now that I've fulfilled my giddy quota... for anyone that can watch this:
http://hs.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=34897090192&subj=1603380083

I swear the video makes it waaaaaay more nasal than it really is.

I've watched it twice already since last Tuesday (would've watched it over the weekend if my boyfriend didn't take it to Jersey), and I've watched all the special features, and I just downloaded the soundtrack. I was pissed this morning because I couldn't get my mp3 player to hook up so I could put it on there for today. I'm definitely obsessed, too. My favorite scenes are "I've Just Seen a Face" and, even more, "Let It Be". I cry every time during "Let It Be." Did you watch on the special features the making of the music? There's a clip that shows Timmy Mitchum and Carol Woods (the two that sing Let It Be) recording the song in the studio and the power and emotion with which Carol sings brought me to tears, and it was just the making of it!!

Oh I have so many things I wanna talk about now! Like the scene during "Because" and what's actually happening there, because I have my own interpretation, haha.

OOOOHHHH PaN my twin!

"I've Just Seen A Face" is my favorite scene, too! I also love "Come Together". Listening to that song while I drive and sing can be dangerous And I have a little grade school girl crush on Jude. He's adorable and British. <3

And omigosh yes Carol pelted out that song!! Dang!

I for one was blown away that Max is actually British. I heard him talking briefly on the special features and I was like "wait...what?!" LOL

What'dya think about 'Beacuse'? I have a theory, too..

And back to Jersey? I thought you guys were living together? Sorry to sound like I'm prying, but is everything okay?

This is a major rant. Actually rant isn't the right word, but I didn't know where to post it, and I just need to talk about this. No one is in my flat and I don't know who to ring, so I've kind of drifted here. Please feel free to just ignore me, I just need to get this out.

I've barely left my flat for a week because I haven't wanted to be outside alone. So tonight, I decided I have to start getting some of my life back and I arranged to meet a friend for drinks and pool. I had a really great night, neither of us can play pool so after a couple of drinks it gets quite funny! Anyway, normally I would get the tube home but various stops are closed at the moment so since I was feeling quite confident I decided to walk. My friend stayed on the phone for a while and then when I was about 10 minutes from home he had to go, but I figured I'd be OK on a busy road and everything. So I was walking opposite the football stadium and there's a pub on my side of the road, and I noticed this old guy who was obviously drunk standing at the edge of the pavement like he's going to cross to the pub, so I kind of slowed down thinking that if he crossed the road then I would too so I wouldn't be too near him. I was walking really slowly and there were no cars coming but he wasn't crossing, and then he started yelling stuff at me so I walked faster to get away from him. Just as I kind of drew level with him, a car came up really fast from the traffic lights and at the same moment I noticed this guy step off the pavement... I don't think he'd seen the car. It all kind of went into slow motion, and I think I shouted in the man's direction but the car hit him and he went flying over the roof and the car just carried on. So I was in complete shock, I rang 999 and asked for an ambulance and everything and I ran over to this guy and I was doing everything I knew to help him but there was so much blood from his head and I didn't want to move him and then he stopped breathing and I couldn't do it. I couldn't bring myself to do CPR. Someone came out of the pub and came over and I was crying and just saying "I can't do it" and they said they didn't know what to do, so I ended up explaining and they did what they could, but then the paramedics arrived and pronounced him dead. I had to spend ages giving statements and stuff and I just wanted to come home. He didn't even have ID, I don't even know his name. I watched him die, and I don't know his name.

I just... I can't even explain how I feel. I'm so disappointed with myself. And I'm so scared to leave the flat again, and when people come home I don't want to have to tell them what happened. I really didn't think things could get worse; why do things like this have to happen when I'm already at such a low point?

I could just talk in circles for hours, but I won't. If anyone bothered to read that then thanks for listening... it did actually help to write it down.

First, munchkin, I am so so so sorry for what you went through. If it makes you feel any better, I would've reacted the same way you did. I'm not quite sure what else I can say to make you feel better, but we're here if you need to spill anything else out.

First, I should've clarified, everything's fine here, I just meant to Jersey because he went to his parents for the weekend.

Anywho, I too have a grade school crush on Jude. Except I'm not a big fan of his hair in the movie. However, I'm SO excited to know that Jim Sturgess is starring in a movie called 21 which is based on the book Bringing Down the House about 6 MIT students who ocunted cards in Vegas and won millions of dollars. That means he was in Boston at some point and I didn't know it! But regardless, he's even cuter with an American accent.

And I must've missed that special feature where "Max" talks, I definitely thought he was American.

I think they're having an orgy during "Because". My bf thinks I'm crazy or overanalyzing, but that's my two cents.

I think my favorites singer out of the group though is the guy who plays JoJo. I was honestly blown away by him from the second he opens his mouth in "Come Together".

Hmmm... I think that's it for now...

I'm glad they didn't cut Chris though! But I do wish they cut Rami. I don't want to see an entire collection of draped gowns. He's so friggen stubborn. I mean, how many times have they asked him to break out and do something different and pretty much all he says to that is, "I'm fantastic at draping, so I think I'll just stick with that instead."

I make an early prediction that Christian will take the competition. He's actually kinda grown on me.

The only good thing about today was that I got to see one of my favorite people. And he remembered something that I had almost forgotten about.

If I hadn't seen them this day would have completely sucked. I really do hate this hallmark holiday.

Rave: I totally flipped out on my math teacher. I really dislike him, so, he deserved it.

This is neither a rant nor a rave. Just a really funny thing that happened at my school today.

Our school newspaper said: Happy (Woman's sexual organ) Day! across the top, and had a large diagram of a (Woman's sexual organ) and said the c-word at least twice. So the administrator people tried to gather up all of them, but of course that didn't work. So now we have risque' school newspapers blowing around with this wind.

Rave: My science teacher told a girl in our class she should see Wicked!

rave: Valentine's Day

rave: work is going well. i lucked out in getting hired at this place.

Munchkin, I am proud of you for being there and having the courage to even go see the man. I dont know what I would have done, but you should be so proud. He passed away with the sight of a friendly, caring and beautiful face in his mind. I admire you and i send my hugs and love across the ocean. If you want to talk about anything, I am here.

I know someone at CCM (Cincinnati Music Academy) who's majoring in Oboe (even though I don't like her.) You should apply there... it's one of the best school's in the country. My pal's there for Trombone.

Not that it's my place to dictate where you study... I just think it would be cool if you went to a university I visited 2 times a year.

LLK, I thought about applying there. I decided against it at least for the first year. I detest the oboe prof. there who is highly overrated, so if I applied at all it would be for musical theatre.

I have however heard wonderful things about the music program as a whole, and of the trombone prof.

And I suppose after you saw the torture at Abu Ghraib you craved a falafel?

I'm sorry, but it has nothing to do with your personal choices. If seeing sick and tortured cows makes you crave a cheeseburger, there's something seriously wrong.

But you know what? That's all I'm going to say. I don't want to start anything, especially with a person like you. Say what you want, I don't care. It's obvious where you are.
