Rant: No good deed goes unpunished.

I stop to ring an ambulance for a woman who has collapsed, and my friend gets punched in the face, his teeth knocked out and a broken nose.

Worst of all, the guy I would consider my closest friend, the one I never judge no matter what he does, the one I tell everything to, blames this on me because I stopped to help the woman. It's 2.15am but I can't sleep knowing that he's mad at me. I've never had this with a friend before. I know this guy inside out and now he's mad at me because I'm too nice. What the hell am I supposed to do? It's not my fault, I won't let myself think that, and no one else blames me. I'm so upset, this is awful.

Edit: I'm eating raspberry flavour marshmallow fluff out of the jar with a cocktail stirrer. I think this may be a low point.

wow that lmost makes me sick lol...I just ate a large slice of very rich cheesecake so I'm like "NO SWEETS" right now lol

anyways about your friend just let it play out and don't think anything of it if he is a true friend then he will get passed this childish behavior and realize it is not your fault..if he doesn't already..it's quite possible his pride is a little bruised and he needed to take it out on someone...so just give it time

munchkin, I've never met anyone besides you who has attracted so many crises! Somehow you always end up in these situations with people falling or collapsing or getting hit by cars! You're a magnet for other's accidents.

Munchkin, it's not your fault. Don't ever feel badly because you stop to do the right thing. Calling the ambulance helped that lady, I hope someone like you is around if/when I have a serious physical episode in public.

munchkin, I'm probably not the best one for advice, but if he's really a good friend, he'll figure out that it's not your fault that anybody got punched if you were trying to help someone.

Rave: Prince Caspian. Ben Barnes and I almost have matching haircuts! And we sat behind the most adorable little girl.

Rant: I nearly sat on somebody when I went into the theater.

I know! It's getting beyond ridiculous. This is the third ambulance I've called in a month, and then there was the time a few months ago. These things just seem to happen when I'm around, and I refuse to leave people.

I think it may just be better if I stick to quieter areas of town for a while! People are clearly in danger around me.

Hey I'm going to London. If you were to wear a bright orange t-shirt with the words "I AM MUNCHKIN!" on it we could say hi.

...so am I- going to London, not wearing a bright orange shirt- but IMHO that sounds a bit weird. No offense, I think it'd be fun, but still. And I doubt my group would let me. Meet someone, I mean, not wear a bright orange shirt. I write in choppy sentences. Yay.

rant: four more days of school before finals. Rant because a) I have four days to study, not counting the weekend and b) I don't want it to end...
rave: since I was last on the MAC website they've opened a store half an hour from me. And I missed a chance to go today, which is probably a good thing.

It's great that people are coming to London... but I have no plans to be there for quite a while. If you come to Manchester, I think that would be worthy of a bright orange t-shirt!

Yes! Go read the "Films you should see thread", where LLK and I talk about it. I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch it a second time.

Rave: I dreamed up a fully complete Fiyero/Elphaba bookverse oneshot last night-with a little voice narrating everything that Fiyero was thinking. And it was actually a good oneshot. I think I'll have to write it down, even though I don't normally write any romance...

Rave: As if that dream wasn't enough, I had another fantastic dream last night. This one doesn't make as much sense, though-I dreamed that my sister and I were strolling around New York and somehow ran into Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs. Then, for some reason, out of the blue my sister asked them to have lunch with us, and they did. And I got both their autographs on a napkin XD

Wow, I have really, really strange dreams....but nice dreams ^^

Are you serious?! That's amazing!

I think if I were ever to do that, I would fall over in a dead faint and mightily embarrass myself...I nearly fainted when I stood at the stagedoor and met the Wicked cast when I went to see it in March, and I was expecting that!

Well, I did embarrass myself, but then I always do that when I see anyone remotely famous (I think I take after my mum, she once practically physically assuaulted a tv journalist).

I was shopping around Covent Garden whilst killing time before my train home after the Chess concert, and I just walked past him! It didn't really register at first, then I stopped dead in the middle of the road and thought about it for a second, then decided to go back and have another look! I walked back up the street on the opposite side and caught up to him and crossed over, thinking I might talk to him, and I was so distracted (I believe I was thinking, "I gave your wife cheese!") I just walked straight into him. I was mortified. After that, I did not let on that I recognised him!

I walked back down the street screaming down the phone to my friend! I kind of have a mission to meet all the Rent OBC. I've met 4, and embarrassed myself in front of... 4.

I also saw someone faint on Idina after her last show in Wicked in London. Mildly amusing!

munchkin, it seems that you and I are sort of polar opposites. There are people to which everything happens. You. And then there are people to which practically nothing happens. Me. I'm not necessarily saying that either is better- I'd freak out if someone collapsed and I had to call an ambulance- but still.

Rant: the new Indiana Jones movie. Ugh.
Rave: the people behind me were comparing somebody who plays Fiyero to Charlie Sheen, but the way the woman put it was "that Fiorello guy, or whatever his name is, from Wicked." I love people in movie theaters.

maybe i missed something, but why? what's going on?

at for the age-dating thing, i hae only ever dated people my age and it seems alright with me. i feel like my limites when it come to age and dating is the person has to be in same decae as me. i am 23 years old, so the other person's age needs to start with the number 2 (and not 2 or 200). make sense? so when i'm 33, the person i'm seeing needs to be in thier 30's.
i thinks thats a good wa of going about, but i understand everyone has thier own ways and thats cool too.

FabFae, we would rather you work hard and get the grade with no internte than have internet and lose the grades. so you will be missed, but we'l be happy to know that you'll be more focused on school. see you June 20.

Rave: My parent's made an empty threat. This entire time I've still been connected to the internet, and they haven't done anything about it.

Rant: work work work. Work.

Work.

Example of question for my exam: "What did Adolf Loos actually intend with his essay Ornament and Crime?"

Example of answer I have prepared:
1. I don't care
2. What has this got to do with architecture?
3. How will this help me design a building?
4. I can't provide an answer because I refuse to buy the book you wrote on principle, since you designed the entire exam round it, forcing us to pay £60 for 800 pages of shite.

9 questions to go. And then 10 essay questions. What fun.

Rave: I'm going to some random singing thing tomorrow which sounds like it might be fun and is being held in a gorgeous auditorium.

Not sure yet: the actor from Avenue Q/The Wedding Singer who I have been stalking slightly added me on Facebook.

Seriously, don't even worry about it. The horror stories you hear aren't true. Even if they were, you don't seem like the type to give anyone reason to torture you... To be entirely honest, the classes aren't harder, the musicals are better, the people are more fun and most of them can drive, and the teachers will probably be some of the most interesting and influential people you will ever meet. You will have so many great memories, and honestly after the first day you won't have any idea why you were ever nervous.

Well, that's good to hear. My friends and I always get these stories of how newcomers get bullied. The absolute worst is when they invite us to a so-called "freshman party" and if we do come, we get tied to a chair and be forced to do things. That scared the crap out of me back then, haha. Though now I'm pretty sure it's not true.

lol. It's surreal to me that my boyfriend is trying to get a job as a high school teacher for next year (he's teaching 7th grade this semester). But, it's just weird to me... doesn't feel like I was in high school THAT long ago, but I guess I was.

Really don't worry about "Freshmen Drag Day" or whatever your school calls it. I've never heard of a school that actually had that. Like Matt said there really isn't anything to worry about it. Go, have fun, make a lot of memories, because seriously... it'll be over before you know it. You're very smart and I'm willing to bed you're fun to be around. Seriously... just try to enjoy it. After the first few days it'll feel like second nature to you.

Lol. Can you tell I'm tired?
