high, my name is ivy. I'm 20 years old and I live in the Philippines. When I'm not reading, I'm writing, drawing, painting, listening to music and practising the piano. Before I joined, I was, umm, kind of a lurker here. I joined mainly because after reading Wicked ( which I had mistakenly thought would be a light easy book ), I had so many questions about the story that I knew I wouldn't be able to answer them all myself, I would have to inter-act with other fans and readers. Anyway, from what I've read in my lurking days, there seem to be many intelligent people here, so I'm looking forrward to learning a lot from you all. Thanks! IP: Logged |

hi, I'm ivy! I finished reading Wicked recently , and as soon as i put it down I knew that I would have to read it again, and join a discussion board. The scope and language of the novel is so complex and broad that I know I need to discuss it with other fans so that I understand it fully. I'm a bigtime reader, and when I'm not reading, I enjoy writing, listening to music and drawing/ painting. I'm 16, turning seventeen in October, and I live in the Philippines. Incidentally, a couple years back, my theatre elective in school put on a production of " Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister " as a year-end project. I played Ruth, although I don't really look much like her. x) IP: Logged |

Hi Ozians! My name is Justin. Well thats all the information my strict parents will let me give about myself on the internet. I will let you know that I am a boy. I joined this chatroom because no one i know has read Wicked but one of my friends has seen the play and it annoys me to no end when she insists that Elphaba's father was the govenor of Munchkinland when infact her mother was the Thropp Second Descending. Well sorry to ramble nice to meet everybody. ------------------ [This message has been edited by EminentThropp (edited 05-06-2008).] [This message has been edited by EminentThropp (edited 05-06-2008).] IP: Logged |

Hey Fred! Welcome to the boards. We're all nice people, but you gotta give us more than six minutes... (Look who's talking. I was here two minutes ago.)I have a question. Is your name really Fred? Because forvige me if this sounds weird, but I've never actually met anyone named Fred. It's kinda cool. Justin, welcome, nice to meet you. Honestly, do stop plugging your sig. I like it well enough, but I agree with FabalaFae. Ooh! Sorry, random idea attack. Know what'd be fun? A Shiz Honor Student bumper sticker type thing. IP: Logged |

Just a note about the buttons. Please learn to use and love the edit button. It is the little button above the post with the pencil on it. Double posts aren't the end of the world but we do prefer not to have them.

Woah. No one has an issue with your sig. If you want to use it, that's fine. It's entirely up to to you. There's just no need to ask people to comment on it in every post. If someone likes it they will say. I always forget to use mine. I'm going to remember this time... ------------------ IP: Logged |

You haven't seen hyper until you've seen my friend and I together. On our own we're already pretty hyper, but when we get together, don't even try to follow our conversations or figure out why we do things. On an entirely different subject, but it does relate to hyperactivity, anyway...I bought five packs of reese's today. ------------------ IP: Logged |
