I love perezhilton.com...he is sooo funny. And his pictures! Hah-I think it's even funnier because he's a generally unapealling-looking guy!

Hey PaN (and perhaps a few other members)

Have you been keeping up with So You Think You Can Dance? I'm extremely impressed by the top twenty this year. They are starting at a level most of the past season's contestants ended at. The number one performance so far for me was the contemporary wedding routine from Mark and Chelsie. It was absolutely incredible!

I was a bit sad to see Rayven and Jaime go but their routine was hardly anything more than cute, and their solos were lacking. Her solo was rather neat, but his ballroom solo just didn't cut it.

I also really enjoyed the smooth waltz, rather unexpectedly. They really did a very impressive performance.

I have been watching! I really loved Joshua and Katee, which surprised me because I really don't dig Katee after the whole announcing of the top 20. She's a brat. But I just love hip-hop anyway.

I did like Mark and Chelsie but her dress really really bothered me. There was too much dress for her. I felt like we didn't get to see the real beauty of her movements because it was so bulky. Especially the part where he was holding her and she literally folded in half. That would've looked so gorgeous were she in a white slip or something.

I was expecting more from Kourtni and Courtney. And I wasn't that impressed with Chelsea and Thayne, or Jessica and Will, even though the judges praised them to the high heavens. I though Thayne looked incredibly bored in their performance, though he tried to hide it with a smile. And I like Comfort because she's real. Oh and I love Twitch, and Kherington's great but her eyebrows bother me. Lol.

I know I haven't touched upon everyone, but I think that's a good start. I'm just excited to see more Mia as I've really only just developed an appreciation for her. And do you know if Shane is coming back to choreograph? He's not shown on the website, but I can't imagine that Tab and Napoleon will be the ONLY hip-hop choreographers. I love Shane's choreography.

It should be a great season. And I love that I got my boyfriend to watch with me, haha. Oh! And watching the PCD last night makes me want to be a burlesque dancer.

Oh my gosh, I completely forgot about Katee and Joshua! I don't care if Katee is a brat, her solos are incredibly moving. Overall I think this routine was my second favorite (a close second to Mark and Chelsie). I think what I loved the most about it was that it didn't seem like your normal "hip-hop", it was much more interpetive and contemporary. Plus, the "Off to War" theme was incredible and brought it to a whole different level.

Chelsie's dress was gorgeous. I really think it added to the performance so much. All of the moves seemed so beautiful and graceful, and I think without the dress we could have seen a lot of flaws that may have been there. It is difficult to make a lot of that seem graceful, and the dress was an incredible effect.

Both Kourtni and Courtney let me down. Their solos were MUCH better than their routines last night. Twitch and Kherington were very good, but I didn't like the song choice for a broadway routine. Chelsea and Thayne were no where near as good as the judges made them out to be, but I will say she far outshined him!

I don't know about Shane, but I would assume he'll take part somehow. Personally I always look forward to the Mia routines.

Also in my news today:
I just plugged the boards on another forum.
I registered here 2 years ago exactly! I have been meaning to post this all day, and only just got round to it at 11.59pm.
I have only made it to 707 posts, which doesn't seem that many.

Now I feel absolutely disgusting.

But it was totally worth it.

I don't have one. I don't feel like I should, but it'd be useful.

Overheard conversation:
"When are you going to get a Facebook?"
"As soon as somebody makes me one."
"I'll get right on that. No, seriously."

(didn't involve me)

All my friends have been pestering me to get a Facebook, so I finally did, last week. And to my surprise, I'm actually enjoying having it. It lets me keep up with the friends I don't see often during the summer.

Mistress Hibbins? I have something slightly random to say...

I was just looking through some old old old posts (because I have nothing to do) and I found that you once posted this:

quote:
Elsewhere on the web I have appeared as Chattox, after one of the supposed leaders of the infamous Pendle or Lancashire witches.

And I thought I'd just say that I live in Pendle! Apparently my family is descended from one of the witches but I don't know whether to believe that... we went to visit graves once.

Okay I'd like to start a thread which basically involves people stating the one question they would ask Gregory Maguire if they could choose only one. I did some extensive searching and came up with nothing, but if anybody remembers any thread like this could you please let me know and I won't start a new thread.

other than that, i'm really not sure.
you could start the thread, but i honestly dont know how far it would get.
