Cheers Heath.

And, ha, no, there's no space in between 'poppy' and 'cock' i'm afraid.

I prefer gobbledy-gook and balderdash personally. I love being English.

Sure! Bed, Bath and Beyond's name before they changed it was Bed, Bath and Beyond Balderdash.

Amazing Quote of the Day That Fully Illustrates the Decline Of American Education!
"When you are done with your test, please do not read or do any other activity that will distract other students from taking the test."

Ooh Ooh! Has anyone seen that episode of Family Guy, where they go to Bed Bath and Beyond and there's a door that says "Beyond" and Peter walks through and starts floating around in some weird dimension and then comes upon the huge table of coffee mugs and he says, "Oh so that's where the coffee mugs are."

Ahahahahaha, cracks me up!

Oh and Acey, I missed your rant but here's some love regardless

Oh god, I think that was one of my favorite episodes ever. The one where Lois screams out Mel Gibson's name, and they spoof "The Passion of the Christ". So funny.

Personally, I like the episode where Peter, Cleveland, Quagmire and Joe sing a cover of a Journey song, and after the song Peter is swinging Joe in the air by his legs. There's also a funeral procession that says "is that a Journey song?!" and they drop the casket and go running off.

Classic

*swoosh* And it's gone.

I love Family Guy, haven't seen it in years though. The little insane baby is my inner cartoon character, well, one of them.

Oh, this *is* fun.

Everyone has an Inner:

Animal
Cartoon Character - sometimes two, a Disney and an 'other'
Muppet - Slash Jim Henderson creature in general
and Shakespeare Character

Mine are, respectively:

Peacock, Mental Baby and Lumiere the Candlestick, That Muppet who was the scientists assistand with the really long head with the red fluff on top that just went 'meeep'ish, and i haven't found out my Shakespeare yet, probably Prince Hal or Puck.

You should post some more...

or get a deviantART site or something. That would be wonderful.

I've been told about deviantart, and didn't really get it. And i don't write well for audiences, if you see what i mean, if i think someone else might read it, it always ends up like pifflesquish (HA! New word! WOoOoH! Sounds like something that Harry Potter finds dead in a clearing.)

"*Grunt* Pifflesquish skin," said Haggis, "Mouldywart must be near."
"Oh knickers! I hope my scar and pointy stick with a feather in it will save the day!"
*zap*
*Mouldywart flees*
"Fancy that! Can i have lots and lots of house points so we can end the film now please?"

Cynical? Yes. Not a fan. Wow, that was random, where was i? Oh yeah (caffine, this late, me, not good) No, i've forgotten again, mumbles.

I wish i could write songs though. I hate poetry, even though it's all the same kettle of pigeons.

In regards to the muppet with the red fluff on his head, you would be talking about Beeker.

He makes me laugh. His mouth is so funnily-shaped and he always looks either surprised or frustrated.

You...*sniffles*...hate...*tear*...poetry?

*sigheth*

Tennyson?

Poe?

Dickens?

Frost?

Oh, how I adore poetry.
I also love songs, obviously, since I'm an aspiring musician, heehee.

I don't know...Poetry is just such a great form of an emotional outlet for me.

No! Don't get me wrong, i love good poetry, it's just the stuff i normally encounter is just wanking "I am a verse, a tree, a leaf, i rot, i am mould" bollocks just doesn't sit on me. We get a lot of that over here, spesh in London, on the Southbank, very faux-high brow. But yeah, i like the classic stuff, the romantics are gorgeous. Hence that one about the daffodils, i mean, it's so done and cliched now, but those yellow trumpety things just don't get old, it's strange.

*starts being quiet*

Caffinecaffinecaffinecaffine!

It's only tea, i would not be good with coffee...

(sorry for slowness, internet on and off like a whore's knickers tonight)

This may sound childish, but I've always had the theory that everyone has an inner Winne the Pooh character...has anyone read the stories? They're like....a big hug if that makes sense

Anyway, I think of myself as Piglet because I'm constantly fretting over absolutely nothing. But I like Acey's theory on the Muppet character thing...though I can't think of who I'd be at this moment...

Random, but did anyone ever see the old Muppet Christmas Carol with Michael Cane? Funny stuff hehe.

Alright I'm done, that's enough tangents for the day.

Oh yes, that was stunning!

And the Winnie the Pooh thing is totally true, but i haven't read the book yet (i bought it, mainly to look impish and interesting when reading it on the train, but have yet to actually pick the thing up proper.)

And, of course, there's the inner Mr. Men/Little Miss.

Ha, I love hearing you guys talking about the muppets! I always like Ralph 'cause he was the musician in the group. Hehe. I don't really know who'd apply to me though.

And Acey, from what little we've seen (you really should post a full face picture) you don't look a THING like Beeker. Unless, your mouth opens and closes like a drawbridge, which I doubt it does.

Technically this could go in the Musical forum, but its pretty random and I doubt it deserves its own thread...

...but I was listening to Wicked yesterday while I was driving, absolutely belting it, having a grand ol' time...then I started noticing the strange looks I was getting from cars around me. Not like I cared, I'll never see these people again, it just kind of amused me to see their expressions.

Anyone ever had similar experiences?

Oh yes, but on Tube station esculators with an MP3 player, it's a lot more cringe worthy and drawn out... not with Wicked though, well, some times, i have a tendancy to do the 'book' bit of the choreography in What Is This Feeling? It's rather whimsical.

Haha, all the time. I sing a lot since it's pretty much a dream of mine, and I consider myself to have a... decent voice, so, yes, I understand. Especially in the past summers, because my P.O.S. car doesn't have air conditioning, so my windows are always down. People hear no matter what.

Urg, it's nearly midnight, but if i go to bed, it means i have to wake up and go and teach kids who hate me. Thus if i don't go to sleep, Saturday won't happen? That's logical, right?

And Peter, it's a pleasure (Ha! Jessica Peter Rabbit, cool).

Aww we have something in common in that singing is a dream of ours. If I had the money, time, and willpower I'd try and get properly trained to do it professionally but alas, it looks like Car Kareoke is about as far as I'm going to get.

Yeah... I wish I could continue my training. I've actually been searching for people in this area to play for me for open mic nights... It's not as easy as one may think. I'll do it someday, I promise myself that. Don't give up your dreams TUL! (Ha, you have an abbreviation now too!)

Yes, well darling you don't give us much to work with! We could've given you an abbreviation if you have a longer name. But hey, I like that you're not like everyone else, because, well... you're not!
