quote: Ugh. My dog ran away and I chased him for literally thirty minutes. I cried all day, because I am a girl and I'm a teenager , and that's what happens. I didn't do some of my work for the end of the quarter, people were frustrating me, and this idiot called me really vulgar names because I told him to "please shut up" because I was at the end of my rope and he had been making me when I said "Exscuse me." *takes deep breath* I love that background. *sawwoon* IP: Logged |

uh oh, i hope this doesn't turn into a battle of the sexes (girls lives are harder than boys lives and vise versa). yesterday i was taking order at the drive-thru. so i say my greeting to the car at the speaker, "Good Evening. Tim Hortons." and this guy from the passenger side says, "One B***job please!" I didn't reply, they place thier order and they drive up. the girl making the coffees for them turned to me and was like "did they just say what I thought they said?". and i said, "yes, they ordered a b***job". normally i would be able to come up with a quick comeback, but i so thrown off I didn't say anything......so we f***ed up thier coffees. Am I just slow to discover this? Idina Mezel is in an upcoming 2007 Disney film called Enchanted. Did anyone else know this? Or am I just slow? IP: Logged |

so i have a question. i live in Canada and do not fully understand the political system in the US. i know that the US just had an election, but what was it for? i read that Democrats won, so does that mean that the US has a new president? could someone help me out? No, there is no new president, yet. We just had our midterm elections for Congress, state legislatures, and some state governors. Midterm elections are held every two years. All of the representatives in the House run for re-election, and roughly one-third of the Senate runs for re-election. A Senate term is six years, so the Senate races cycle for every midterm election. This midterm election was significant because the Democratic party gained the majority in both the House and the Senate, as well as many state governorships. The Republicans--or, rather, a minority of nutsy Republicans--have had control of the United States government throughout Bush's administration, and now their power has been challenged by the wave of Democrats who have been voted in. Most voters, it seems, cast their votes based on their feelings about America's continued involvement in Iraq. And most of them, apparently, are fed up with it. We shall see what this turn of tide means for the 2008 presidential election IP: Logged |

I'm quite sad that Dan Seals didn't win, I've met him before and he seemed like quite a wonderful person... And you could prononuce his name... *shrugs* Oh! It's supposed to snow again today! It's so far only snowed once, about four weeks ago! My goodness, by the time Decemeber comes, we'll have a Christmas in New York! And please, someone help the U.S. goverment, the textbooks are going to have a helluva (who came up with that spelling!?) job rewriting the events since 1990, till present, I don't want anything else to be thrown in there. I feel really, really bad. I screwed up and didn't write something in in my checkbook. My mom just transfered $100 into my account. My parents are struggling as it is let alone giving me $100. Last month they were being threatened with eviction if they didn't pay rent on time! Excuse me while I go cry and/or throw up. I feel so bad. IP: Logged |

*dances* Dick DeVos is not governor in Michigan! Anyways, Saint A, did you get my email I sent on Monday or Tuesday? This week I have had everything I tried to send get bounced back to me except yours, but it's highly likely that its just lost in cyberspace. IP: Logged |

A little random factoid that many people probably already know: Bridesmaids were originally chosen to confuse anyone who might want to harm the bride. They would make it hard for the attacker to find the true bride. I think the veil might have meant to serve the same purpose too. Isn't it ironic that the bride would choose their closest friends/relatives to sacrifice themselves if need be? I think so. IP: Logged |

Sure, why not? Well Scarecrow was pointing out secrets, plain and simple. I don't know what secrets, but I believe she was reffering to her friends at lunch. Now, mine, mine was a total non-sequator, let me explain! So, yesterday, I had to stay with my brothers for about four hours at their chess tournament to help supervise. And I borrowed this kid's "Ripley's Believe it or Not" book. And on the last page there was a thing about a Cyclops kitten... =) IP: Logged |

quote: Saint A, I can explain for myself. There us a group of girls that I sit with at my lunch table. And we are all realy coming together. How? Because we each have a secret. And we are the only ones in the school that knows the others secret. And I was commenting, that if you looked at us, you would see, 4 white, straight edge, smart, "good girl"s. You would never think that we would have these..secrets. And its really great. One of the girls I have know for oh, 6 years? And we have never gotten along. Now, we walk down the hallway, and we can really talk and open up. But not just about the secret. About everything. IP: Logged |
