*just stares at the randomness for a few minutes, then claps like a fool* Yay for people who are random! I just thought I'd let you all know...I don't think I'm going to get dressed until 3 today. Why? Because I can walk around in a bathrobe all day and get away with it Also...I think my female fish might be a male fish. You'd think it'd be easy to tell, but it's not. I just found out that there are a couple types of Betta fish...and mine looks like the short-finned kind...and it's hard to tell the difference between males and females. Not to mention the fact that my fish is plump like fish get when they have eggs, but made a bubble nest - and boys do that. Does anyone like old movies? Like, black and white, classic stuff? I do. I watch Turner Classic Movies all the time. Call me crazy, but I think Liam Neeson is hott. I don't care that he's old enough to be my father. Male strippers are kind of interesting. It's funny to watch them dance in G-strings. Their junk moves all over the place. I had a stripper clean my glasses on his crotch...yeah, that was an interesting bachelorette party... I once had to be a man in a play. Officer O'Hara in Arsenic and Old Lace. I look great with a mustache, let me tell ya... I'm bored out of my mind IP: Logged |

quote: HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!! That is by far, the funniest thing I've heard today, and it's only 10:15 am here! Oh and Tasha, female bettas have very short fins, and I don't think they have very much coloring. Mine is a male but he's very brightly colored and the fins are very long. He makes bubble nests as well. Here's a female betta...does it look like this? [This message has been edited by SoulOverflowing (edited 07-24-2006).] IP: Logged |

Well, the thing is, the bettas with long fins are betta splendens. I thought that my female was one of those. But the more I look at her, the more she looks like a betta imbellis, which is short-finned. But male and female betta imbellises look so similar, it just confuses me. And the bubble nest thing really weirds me out. And she's big...like the body is the same size (if not, slightly bigger) than the body of my male (which is a splendens). Congratulations if you followed that. I'm glad that I amused you IP: Logged |

Wow, I bow to you because of your betta knowledge! I'm a big animal lover myself, so I'm really interested in animal behavior and all that. But I didn't know that there was such a thing as a betta imbillis (sp?) Hmm..now I'm stumped too. What to do, what to do.... IP: Logged |

Thanks for the nod I don't really know that much about them, I just did a little research once I saw Mihaela making a bubble nest. It only confused me more.I have a picture of me as a man! I'm hott to begin with, you know. You can only prepare yourself for how sexy this is... My high school director was like that, too. If you pissed her off once, you were never going to act again. Lucky for me I'm a good ass-kisser. IP: Logged |

Yay for Christmas! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Hehe. And since this is general chinwagging I want to share my boyfriend's and my idea for Christmas this year. We visited this place the last time I was down there called Peddler's Village in PA, and it's just so beautiful there. It reminds me of a little German shopping village (which I actually have visited, so it was quite accurate). Anywho, we both found so many little shops that had just amazing things that we would love to own. So our unconventional idea for Christmas this year is to go back to there and shop for each other. If we visit a store together and see something we want, we will just by it for each other. And we also plan to split up for a little while and buy little things as a surprise and give them to each other later. No gift wrapping, no waiting until Christmas morning. Just buying fun things that we know the other wants and will love. Makes me happy.IP: Logged |

quote: hehe...pretty good, Tasha! I took on a few male roles in theater, but the director always changed them to a female part. We did a show that was a combination of 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown' and 'Charlie Brown Christmas', and I was PigPen. So, I put my hair in crooked pigtails and smudged make-up on my face to look like dirt IP: Logged |

So, I saw 'Pirates of the Caribbean 2' this weekend. I didn't think it was as disappointing as people claim, but I feel like I should have watched the first one again, because there was stuff I didn't remember. But overall, not a bad movie. Edited due to horrid spelling errors. [This message has been edited by SoulOverflowing (edited 07-24-2006).] IP: Logged |

I liked Pirates 2...it was good. Not as bad as people made it out to be, either. Highlights: Shirtless Orlando Bloom (even if it was just his back), 3-way sword fight between yummy men (loved her reaction to it, too), love triangle, the ever-gorgeous Johnny Depp IP: Logged |

Yeah, I don't know why people kept saying it was disappointing. Of course it won't be like the first one, that would be boring. Now I have to wait another 500 years before the third one comes out. side note: I am all about seeing Spiderman 3...whenever that comes out. IP: Logged |

Just curious... Does anyone here read James Patterson's novels? Alex Cross and all that? I'm totally in the mood to discuss Alex Cross (and who I think should play him in movies). IP: Logged |

Maximum Ride is the second in a series. I haven't read it yet, so I don't know if you need to read the first one or not to understand it. Kids with wings, that's all I have to say. The first one reminded me of Dark Angel (the TV series with Jessica Alba, if you remember it). ********** IP: Logged |

quote: YES! Never before released footage, most of it unfinished. I am so jealous. They talked about Topher Grace's character, and I think perhaps what I've seen in the trailers is a misconception... So, here's what I think. In the trailers, you see Spiderman in an all black suit, rather than his normal blue and red, and the words that flash across the screen reading "How long can any man fight the darkness... before he finds it in himself?" Then it says, "Next summer, the battle lies within." So it makes one think that Spiderman has gone to the dark side... yet in this news article I had read spoke of this character, Venom, who is being played by Grace, and he is like a doppelganger for Spiderman. And in the trailers, they always show this man in the black suit, always showing the back of his head, or his back, but never his face. So I think that it's not in fact, Spiderman, but Venom, trying to make Spiderman believe he has gone mad.... I don't know. This probably makes no sense, but I'm so excited to see it. IP: Logged |

quote: PaN, I did hear that Venom will be one of the villains in the next movie. My boyfriend's a big comic book fan and Venom is one of his favorites, but he doesn't like the fact that Topher Grace took on the role. Venom is supposed to be kind of a big burly guy called Eddie Brock. Eddie and Peter Parker know eachother, but I won't get too detailed, because I don't want to ruin anything. IP: Logged |
