Oh, PaN, I envy you and your convenient seating arrangement that allows you to be a slacker.

I also envy the fact that you're one hour ahead of me right now, and will be going home when I'm still here.

i have a plan!! here is what my scheming (sp?) mind came up with....ready??

i am going to print up some of the GM business cards i made (see business card thread). then i am going to go to the public library ad sli them into the middle of all of the GM books. excpt will revise the card to suit each book i put it in.

ex: for wicked, 'Feeling Wicked?'
for mirror mirror , 'Need to reflect?'
or whatever. and other stuff for the other boooks. and maybe i will print up some as bookmarks and ask if i ca leave some at the front desk n the library.

or maybe i am totally lame and bored. still, i am going to do it.

i am going t copy this post nto the business card thread.

Ah, well, then, you can stop being envious. I stay here until 6:00 eastern time. So we'll actually be leaving at the same time.

Indeed. But then I'll feel bad when I get to leave at noon on Friday because I stayed an hour later every evening. Mwahahahaha!

I'm just kidding. I really will feel bad. But I've earned it by putting in that last damned hour every day.

My new favorite word to say: Shrimp-Toast.

seriously! Just say it, it's really fun to say.

My new favorite word just because: Fetish.
which in turn, reminds me of Ferret.

La-di-da...

I'm bored. Nobody's here. *sigh* I really want the weekend to come...like, now. I was looking on the website of the shelter where we plan on going to choose a cat this weekend, and the website says, "of course we cannot guarantee you an adoption." Apparently they have to approve it first.

Whaaat!? On what grounds would they not approve? Is it if they think you smell? If you're a crackhead? Grar. I really hope it doesn't end up that way, because I'll be extremely disappointed. I know I sound like a five-year old, but oh well.

And I really want to read my book right now. I have three chapters left! I need to know what happens!

Too much suspense. EEEEEEK!

I'm sorry, random rantings.

Maybe it just means that they might not have any animals ready to be adopted at some times?

And yes I LOVE Project Runway. I liked Top Chef too. I don't watch much tv but these are shows I don't like missing!

Ooh Top Chef was so good! I'm so glad that Harold won and not that bitch Tiffany. She was ruthless, I couldn't stand her. I honestly think that Dave should've gone to the top two rather than her, but we all know how reality TV works and I'm sure they wanted to keep the drama there until the very last minute. Bah. Oh well. The right person won.

I'm not so sure it's that, because this shelter is so full of animals, they can't accept any more until there's room. I'm thinking maybe it's if you don't have certain documents that they request (driver's license, approval form landlord) well, the only one without a licens in my house is my sister, and she's 15. We don't need landlord approval, because we live in a house. I can't see what the problem would be...

SO, maybe the website only says it because they have to do background checks on people first, to make sure they have no records of animal cruelty or anything like that. There are so many people nowadays who don't take care of their pets at all. So maybe it's just a general message as a precaution to those kinds of people.

"I'm not your bitch, Bitch!"

greatest
line
ever

I understand why Dave didn't go on, he did miss out on making all three of the dishes for the last part of the challenge. But I wanted Harold to win from the get go. For a reality show contestant he was honest and straight forward and I respect that.

HAHAHAHAHA! LOVE IT! Yes, that was really the best TV line ever. It should go down in history. Did you watch the reunion where they made him a t-shirt that said it? And she cried! (Where did that come from?!)

But, yes I agree with you about Harold. He was amazing. Very talented, dedicated, and yes, honest. He really didn't have to backstab anyone to get to the top two like Tiffany did. I also preferred Leanne to Tiffany.

Oh GOD!! Don't even get me started on Stephen. He was only 24!!! Who the Hell did he think he was?! I laughed my ass off when he and Candace had that fight though. She was so dumb, she couldn't even think of any good comebacks. I forget what he said to her at one point, but it wasn't that complicated, and she goes, "oh, ok, you and your big words!" I was feeling pretty bad for her at that point, she just wasn't the brightest...

Edited to add: Look jersey!! Only $22! http://www.nbcuniversalstore.com/detail.php?p=8950&SESSID=af8b6c503ade6b0f2aae77450519a983

I just read that there's going to be a Shrek 3 out some time next year. I don't know how I feel about that. I loved Shrek 2, even more than the first. But three of them? I think that may be pushing it a bit..

Oh I can't wait to see it. I hope they make a Shrek baby. Though I have seen the stuff for it on IMDb and I don't think there is... but I also loved the second more than the first. I just can't get enough of those movies, they're so innovative with their humor. I will look forward to seeing it. If they go past three... then I might have a problem with it.

I am sadly awake (its 7 am here) because my mom told me yesterday that she needed me to follow her to the car shop so that she could drop it off to get serviced and then I could drive her back home...

She decided after I got up that she would just wait at the shop for the car to be done....

So now I'm here. And very tired.

Yay! Yes, it's Friday, and we have a stretch of 90 degree days coming up, all sunny, and it's beautiful out today, and I get to leave early, and I'm hopefully going to the beach tomorrow, and now I'm done with my run-on sentence.

And it's amazing what the imagination can do... As I sit at my desk and munch on my pineapple and burn a coconut candle... I'm picturing this...

Swinging leisurely on a double hammock with my boyfriend, under a barage of palm trees on some remote island with blue skies and green clear waters. Sipping on pina coladas, listening to the waves roll ever so peacefully onto the white sands... smelling the sea breeze drifting off the waters into our nostrils. Feeling the warm sun and the cool breeze drench our bodies. Hearing the tropical birds sing their harmonies above our heads....

I gotta get away....

Yeah, me too. I would really enjoy being away from a cubicle with bland white and cream coloring while bright, artificial lights are blaring down on me.

Oh I so have you beat on the coloring.... every wall is the green color of the trim on these boards. And our carpets are a hideous purple. Yes. Lime green and purple. It makes me want to puke. I had to adjust the contrast and brightness on my computer, because everyting else is just too much to cope with! The walls and flourescent lights are giving me the worst headaches.

Lime green and purple? Ew...

Well, the entire office here looks the same. White, off-white, beige...blech. Except for the middle section by the kitchen, which is a rusty orange color they call 'pumpkin.'

Hahaha. That is funny SO. Yea, the green and purple is pretty sickening. I was hoping that when we moved our offices we could get away from that. But no such luck. Apparently, they are "company colors" and we must stick to them. We even got horribly ugly lime green zip-up hoodies with our company logo on them.... Who would ever want one of these?!?! It's awful. The only time I ever wear it is when I'm utterly freezing in my office... which does happen a lot, because I share a temperature guage with an overweight girl who is always hot... and I'm always freezing. Fun times.

Oh, I totally get the temperature thing! It's about 85 degrees outside right now, but my office is freezing. I need to wear a zip-up sweater over all of my cute summer work outfits because I'm constantly cold.

And yeah...I don't know who would want a lime green hoodie.

Haha. Seriously, it's such a shame that you're not in the vecinity of me. I feel like you are my mirror in another part of the country. Hahahaha. Weird. I usually just open my windows to let in the 90 degree air to keep me warmer, haha.
