Cranial pain and bleeding noses do not good symptoms make. And thank the Lord. It's your choice and I respect that. However, I would like to know why offices allow people to go on cigarette breaks every hour or so when everyone else just gets one lunch period and that's it. If smokers get breaks, I think all other people with not-so-good habits should get breaks. I don't see people going out for their mid-day 'nailbiting.' Rargh. You are actually entitled to that "cigarette break", if your employers are going to give those people a five minute break every hour then there is no reason why you don't have the right to one, even if you don't smoke, take up lollipops and demand a break for one of those every ninety minutes. There are laws and regulations and things about it, in the UK/EU anyway... IP: Logged

I would definitely be up for 10 hour days, three days a week as opposed to working straight through five days in a row. And if I'm also entitled to a "smoking break", no one here ever told me... But yes, I'd be all for adjusting the way our corporate world works, but Americans tend to do things half-assed. IP: Logged
