I know it's superficial and stupid but it's really bugging me!

We simply MUST boycott the "game" thread untill this one becomes the biggest thread on the board.

It's doing my head it, we'll get close, and then it'll just gain another three hundred posts from nowhere... grrr.

Adding: And i so totally can not multitask, i just had a nervous break down attempting, it was not good.

i have a big favour to ask you all...

i have already searched around, so dont worry. i am not being lazy.

do any of you have idea where i could findany sort of list of the names of people who died during World War 2? i do realize this is a very vague question. anything at all would help, just to get me on the right track. if it helps, i'm looking for Dutch people.

Thanks

Okay..no more playing the "game".

"Chewing gum is really gross...chewing gum I hate the most"

guess what movie that's from?

and

"It's just strange how time erases things.
Time doesn't erase thing, people erase things.
Yeah...People erase people."

Well, that's from the sucky-devoid-of-Gene-Wilder version of Charlie/Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

No idea what the other one is from.

And Helen, i imagine there is an archive of the names on Dutch war memorials somewhere on the internet, and if not, er... maybe the Dutch Embassy has one. *shrugs* I really have no idea.

Sucky?...*sniffs*
Tim Burton...sucky?

*huddles into corner to sulk*

The second quote is from the amazingly dark teen comedy, Jawbreaker.

I'm off to bed as I have an absurdly early morning tomorrow! Just thought I'd say goodnight to everyone. Oh, and Helen, 'King' is fine, or 'Quoxy', but I think we should reserve 'KoQ' for when I'm being naughty/stupid/fractious/all three. Oh, and Acey, I've replied to your e-mail, though my Chekhov solutions are far from satisfactory. Oh, and Heath, don't sulk in the corner. I thought the Tim Burton version was much better than the older film of 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. And I've brought you an ice cream to apologise for my Alexis Colby moment several posts back!

Sleep well everyone!

*Coaxes out of the corner with a green tea frappachino.*

I am not Tim Burton's biggest fan i'm afraid, no. But i don't like Tim Burton, it's not like i don't like you.

Shall you be taking your frappachino on the beach or in the meadow, sir? I shall do my best to serve your every whim.

It should be noted that I adore sorbet. And that it's impossible to buy here. But that's okay, because it's impossible to buy good here-food in America.

Sorbet is still heaven, though.

OTM, I love the first picture.

Helen, I've decided to call him NMG. Not Male Genitalia. *grins* You, of all people, should adopt it with me. *grins again*

And, NMG, if we called you KoQ every time you were being naughty, would we need much of any reason to call you something else?

AND...

Okay, I was going to add something to the discussion, but I didn't have anything. Oops.

I am excited in a way, but not fully. I can't actually drive it yet, so that takes away from a lot of the initial excitement. Still waiting on the paperwork. Boo...

Ooh! Good for you OtMfIM. Well, I unfortunately can't offer any advice as to how to go about it, but I will say this.

You're strong, and you're happy with your life. Use those to guide you. I'm assuming that your family is accepting or you wouldn't even think about coming out. Just stay relaxed and stay happy!

Ok that was quite possibly the worst advice EVER! But I just know you'll be a-okay!

You have all of our thoughts with you.

My brother doesn't want to go out with me. Which means I'm not telling him today. Or probably speaking to him at all. Does anyone know the symptoms of hyperventilation? Because, I think I just did about 20 minutes ago.

Edit: I checked and I'm pretty sure I did hypervenilate: not fun.

Are we okay now? *breathes* It's okay. *pats you on the back* *hands you lillies* Maybe there's a good reason that it didn't work out today. Don't worry.

This woman is amazing, she's just burst onto the British music scene, she's an accoustic/acappela kind of musician, you can't place her really. She is absolutely FUCKING amazing... And that offensive language is warranted, she is that good.

I would not say this lightly, as this is like The Pope waving around a copy of The Da Vinci Code for me, but she is TOTALLY the twenty-first century, female, Bob Dylan. *gasp* True.

I wonder how much killing off mosquitoes (es? or just s?) would screw up the food chain.
