My GOODNESS! Where is everyone today?! This place is like a ghost town for the past couple of hours... I'm bored without everyone here! Come back? Anyone?

Quote of the day ~

You're probably drumming your fingernails on the white linen tablecloth the way you do when you're really feeling down. Perhaps even looking at those nails thinking, "God, I should have stopped in all my evil plotting to have that manicure."

I used to love Fraggle Rock. I hope that's true. I have only been sporadically posting because I'm really busy with work and studying for boards among other things these days.
Anyway, Fraggle Rock...What were the little construction men called? I can't remember but they walked around with hard hats, happily working all day.

"I never told you my dress is lavender."

Oh George! When will George be here for his Jules?

They were Doozers. Also, all the characters are named after bits of film equipment (Gobo, Sprocket, Uncle Travelling Mat...)

i just posted on the LOST board, and it reminded me of something i wanted to share with you all.

first you must understand that i get scared VERY very easily. i cannot even watch the commercials for scary movies! seriously, i turn of the TV when they come on.

now, i am very proud of myself for this, it was the first step in a long process.
I went to see a scary movie in the theatre!! that's right!! i did it!! and you know what? i wasn't too scared. i figured, if i could watch the commercials, i could watch the movie. and i could watch the commercials! so I went to see SILENT HILL at the movie theatre! i am very proud of myself!!

so i will take it little by little. silent hill wasnt too scary. and i'm reading LOST right now, so thats another step to getting over this thing. my final goal will be to watch the GRUDGE! before you say anything, i have heard it all! people have already told me that it was not that scary. what is not very scary to you, is TERRIFYING to me! i have never seen or heard the commercial for the grudge. i only know how it starts then i close my eys and plug my ears. i freaked out when they spoofed it in Scary Movie 4 (waste of money, dont go see it). so that will be my final goal.

but yes, i wanted to share that i am on the path to becoming a braver person! hee hee!

Helen....man....you need to stop copying me! I saw Silent Hill last weekend in the theater and I'm pleased with myself because I hate scary movies. Especially ones with ghosts. Yeah, I'm a wuss. I saw 'Thirteen Ghosts' with my boyfriend and cried like a little girl.

But anyway, Silent Hill isn't scary per se, but if any of you are squeamish, be warned. In my opinion it's VERY graphic. Gross graphic. >:P But as I said, I'm a wuss.

As for Scary Movie 4..blech. I think there were two funny parts in the whole movie.

**HUG**

Thank GOD! I thought I was the only person in the world that felt this way. However, I am not interested in becoming a braver person. So high fives to both you and SoulOverflowing, but you couldn't pay me money to sit in a theater and watch a scary movie.

I prefer to remain wuss, thank you very much!

PaN, what if it's a stupid scary movie, like Killer Clowns from Outer Space or Leprechaun?
Those movies are hilarious and there's really nothing scary about them. My friends and I watch cheesy horror movies all the time because their so much fun to make fun of! Mystery Science Theater used to do that all the time. Awesome

Um, that's great, I'm happy for you, all fears should be overcomed, hehehehe
A word of advise: when you are ready for the grudge, watch first the one with sarah michelle gellar, and if you feel you can take it, then go for the original japanese movie (it is fenomenal!)
I love everything scary, have been in love with vampires since i can remember, adore everything "gothic", etc...

[silly rant]

Ok, so do you know what I hate (but secretly love at the same time)?

When you see a really hot guy on the subway on the way home from work. Tall, backwards hat (though Yankees, I can forgive him 'cause he's hot), muscular physique (but not too muscular), slight facial hair on chin, strong jaw line, and, best of all, tattoos. So the two of you are totally checking each other out, and continuing to catch each other looking. And he gets off at the SAME STOP as you, so you know he can't live far.

BUT! You know you'll probably never see him again! Gah! [/silly rant]

(Does it make me a bad person that I have a boyfriend? Meh, look but don't touch and he's 400 miles away, so I'm frustrated if you catch my drift!)

Aww PaN, I know how you feel. I'm also taken, but it certainly doesn't stop me from looking. This may sound dumb, but my mom and I have this joke that if you ever see one of those really cute guys, but then obviously you're in a situation where you'll never see them again, that guy goes and lives in "Cute City" We're still trying to find it lol

Oh Jesus. Can I just tell how all how much I love getting frightening text messages at 2:30 in the morning? Really, love it! So now I'm awake and not sure if I'll be able to fall back asleep, on a night I need it more than any other night!

On a completely different note...... Helen, I'm with you on that one. I'm going to visit my boyfriend this weekend in the Jerz, and at this point, I don't know what I'm going to do without you guys the whole weekend.... :-\

Wow, well, it's now three where you are, so I hope you're still not awake.

And seeing as you may be here i'm just going to say that i've got up this morning - on the gorgeous morning - and i am absolutely miserable. And i don't know why. It makes no sence, i'm practically on the verge of tears... and there's nothing wrong. It makes no sense, i hate it when this happens. *is sad* *shrugs*

Love you though.

Gosh, that's awful. I hope it doesn't happen often. If it's any consolation things have not been great in the Kingdom of Quox/Quok of late. Might I suggest (a) a walk in the sun, (b) listening to some music (1930s jazz is good, though I realise it's an acquired taste) and (c)gingerbread men. It usually works for me. Hope you feel happier soon!

Yeah... I was still awake unfortunately. I didn't really sleep well the rest of the night.

Anyway, I love you too! Please keep your chin up. Just remember that someone in the world is always having a worse off day than you. (Either that'll make you feel better or worse, but I really hope it's the former.) And that we love you.

*Smiles and hugs and kisses*

hehe...funny story.

I was on the phone at work helping a customer, and afterwards he said "thank you very much." Well, I often say either "you're welcome" or "no problem". But today, I combined the two and said "you're problem."
Luckily the guy got a kick out of it and laughed. I apologized and explained that I didn't mean to say that, but he was amused, so it's cool. But gah! This is what happens when I don't have enough sleep!

Sorry for two posts in a row..

I'm sorry Acey. I feel like that sometimes in the morning to, but I often find that by the late morning-early afternoon I'm peppier. It helps me to just get and out and do something I enjoy. Sometimes our emotions get a little out of whack, and it's usually because of something we're going through. If you're stressed or upset about something, try taking some time to yourself just to relax and let yourself replenish. Partake in some of your favorite hobbies. Drink some green tea. Anything you need to do to lighten your spirits. I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks guys. But i think i really should just be ignored when i get like this and just get over my cheap self. It's not even as if i've got anything to be upset about. Which makes it worse because then i realise i'm being selfish and ignorant. So yeah, just ignore me, and i'll shut up and go away. Love you all though!
