Isn't his voice fabulous? I'm a sucker for those crooner types Acey--I'm not that great at it either, I took a couple basic lessons and that's about it. But we can be average at swing dancing together! IP: Logged |

Gawd, I don't think God likes Marcy and I, having body parts. My poodle, Glinda (Or Galinda, Hahaha, we got her after we went to Chicago) Bit me on my toe with her sharp teeth, it broke the skin, we didn't worry about it and it got infected, Well now I am planned to have it cut off in a week...Great IP: Logged |

I just had what was probably the most amazing experience I have ever experienced in my colleg life.
I was so excited. I danced down the hall singing along (towel clad) and someone looked at me and was like "what is that?" and I was like "Defying Gravity" and I danced my way into the shower and then after it was over "Take Me or Leave Me" from RENT was playing and then that new song "Love Heals" and the "Defying Gravity" again. It was amazing!

Can i just ask what David Blaine thinks he's playing at? I'm a big fan of all this mind opening public stunt stuff, we two guys called Darren Brown and Danny Wallace who do that kind of stuff over here... but their stuff is psycological and socio-political (flashmobbing, hugging strangers in the street, buying a stranger a present, Do-Good Friday, love it). But this Blaine bloke is utterly pretentious, attemting to pass of all this garb as art. *shakes head disapprovingly* That is the end of my story. IP: Logged |

okay but wait...david blaine. okay, whenever i start talking about david blaine i can never make proper sentences. i think its because i am so confused by him. like...okay, he...can he really do that stuff? how does he do it? he has no stage or strings or anything and he just does that stuff. when i saw him on tv for the first time i FREAKED OUT!! i was watching it with my 2 friends and every single thing he did made me jump out of my chair and yell "What the fuck??" and then run around the room and out into the hallway and yell down the hallway. it is so messed up!! he freaking LEVITATES for goodness sake!! he bites coins in half then spit it back together!!! he can practically read minds!! he makes names appear on people arms!!!! ahhhh!! im getting all crazy again!! does anyone have any idea how any of his stuff works?? my brain cannot fathom it. I have no idea...I don't think David Blaine is of this earth. I actually want to know WHY he does this stuff. Why would someone train themselves TO survive being buried in a glass coffin, or to stay submerged under water in a big human-sized aquarium? WHY?! Also, this conversation reminds me of the South Park episode where David Blaine came to the town and attempted to eat his own head, and he ended every sentence by saying "twaaa..." It was hilarious. EWWWWWWWWWWW HEATH!!! That's just nasty!!
I was pulling into a parking lot this morning at the subway station, and since I'm driving my mom's car, I'm not quite used to the size of it compared to my smaller car. Well the parking lot is set up with a whole row of cars, and another row directly behind it that cars park perpendicular to the first row. I hope this is making sense. Anyway, some F*#&ING woman starts to pull up and rolls down her window to say to me, "You have to move your car." I looked her dead in the eyes, and said "I have to? You can't say please?" She then says, "Well, no, because you did it wrong!" I'm like you've gotta be f*#&ing kidding me?! So I said, "Ohhh! I'm sorry I didn't realize there were right and wrong ways to park!" So I move my car up and SHE DOESN'T EVEN PULL UP BEHIND ME! So after being a straight up bitch to me, she then makes it so no one can park there anyway. It was all for nothing. And it pretty much ruined my day. Oh and of course no thank you either. I can't believe the audacity of people, I really can't. Had she said, "Excuse me, could you please move your car up a little bit?" I would've been like, "Sure! No problem! My mistake!" But no. Stupid *grumble grumble* (Edited for profanity.) RANDOM NIKKI POST I've never heard of David Blaine. But his name reminds me a bit of Campbell Alexander. Because his last name is a first name. But unlike Campbell Alexander's, his first name is a name too. "Does it bother you?" Hee. Props for the first person to name the book. It shouldn't be hard. It's a popular book. OKAY. And as another note - Marc Cohn's voice makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Anyone agree? I hope so. END RANDOM NIKKI POST IP: Logged |

Marc Cohn's a great singer.. but I like the guy who plays rodger (can't think of his name) better. He looks like JON BON JOVI!! *drools*

And I love the song One Safe Place, as well, it's from "The Upside of Anger" soundtrack. Amazing musician! Yay for random posts Nikki! IP: Logged |

A Fraggle Rock movie?! Awesome. I love shows from the 80's, especially the cartoons. Those were the good old days back when TV was good. For all of you younger teens, Fraggle Rock was a Jim Henson show about these underground critters that danced around and sang songs all the time. Basically like the Muppets. IP: Logged |
