YAY, it worked. Okay that's me on the left looking pretty worn out. This was one of the few I had to pick from so I am not alone. It was when I visited my friend in NYC last year. We drove from Virginia that day, so I was pretty tired.

Doing this made me realise I have no proper pictures of myself, so I decided to go the dubious bathroom mirror route XD And then, since it was for this place... also, I feel I should really reaffirm my femininity [again] because people call me 'Sonny' on a day to day basis, really, I've checked, I am a girl

For the longest time I had really short haira nd wore flannel shirts and baggy jeans...I just had to grow my hair out because I could not STAND the giggles when I walked into a girl's bathroom, the constant "young man" and "son," and the stares I got from my grandparents' friends when they introduced me as "granddaughter."

"Daughter? You mean, son."

"No, no, daughter."

"Oh! Really? No, Chad, look who you've got there, that's your grandson..."

The look I got when she realised she wasn't was something else! I'd've melted if it was a bucket of water - er, if looks could kill. And I'm not even small in the boob department, they're pretty obvious most of the time! I wanted to shout "BEHOLD!" and point them out I did not.

As for bathroom troubles, if anyone is ever really adamant that I'm in the wrong one I usually just say "Which is it you think, that I can't read or that I don't know my own gender?". It usually sends them on their way

Nice pics everyone! I think what we've discovered most is that we'd make a really odd line up - not least of all with ElphabaOfOZ at the end, randomly dressed as a newsboy [that's all I can picture you as now - "EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT! There's a spelling mistake on page six!"] and correcting everyone's pronounciation of words [/B]

I feel like I should explain myself. A couple years ago, I participated in this nationwide contest called "National History Day." You get a theme, and then you pick a topic, and you can either do a ten-minute performance or documentary, an exhibit board, or a paper on your subject. Then you compete. I won the regionals and then the state competition with a performance on the New York Newsboy Strike of 1899, and my group and I got flown to DC for nationals...which we won, along with $1000. Anyway the Minnesota division of History Day put us on their website to brag or something...which is why I'm dressed as a newsboy. If that makes any sense.

But I'm not crazy.

I'm currently working on getting a more...current...picture up. But for now, the newsie one will do!

I'm 6' tall, but I'm pretty sure I look like a girl, right? However, I scare women in bathrooms because they think I'm a guy. Just because I'm that tall. It just happened to me last week. Our Office Administrator (who is horribly unprofessional) walked into the bathroom, screamed, then started laughing. She's quite short and told me she thought I was a man standing there and kept laughing. Yeah, feels really great, thank you.
