Are you all going to raise the babies or have any of considered adoption? I only ask because here we all are assuming things, but we never bothered to ask if anyone doing adoption.
I am not asking about abortion because 1) that is a private matter and none of our business and 2) I think each of is too far along for that now, but hey, what do it know!

I considered adoption for about 2 seconds, but I know I could never do that. I kind of wish I could.

I also considered abortion, and I did post about that when I first found out I was pregnant but I changed my post very quickly. I didn't want to be talked out of it. I only decided not to go through with it when I found out was having twins (which I found out perhaps a little bit by accident, or luck) and I was almost at the point of no return. I almost wish I hadn't found out.

I know some of you will have strong feelings on abortion, but I'd rather not get into them if that's OK. There are many reasons I made my choice, the main one being the way my babies were conceived, but also to do with the place I am in my life right now.

The hardest part for me was telling the father. He and I hadn't been in a relationship, although he definately acted the part for the two months he and I talked. He stopped talking to me about 3 weeks prior to me finding out I was pregnant. I gave him the choice of whether he wanted to be involved or not and at first he wanted to know whats going on but now has changed his mind. I think after he told his new girlfriend is when the change of heart took place. (Purely theory on my part.)

I'm very lucky in the fact that I have so much support with my family and friends that I know I can do this and do what is best. Being pregnant isn't easy even under the best of situations. I have learned A LOT over the past few months. Like Twyz said- I'm here for anyone who needs the extra support.

okay so its sideways, but whatever. this is the top of the quilt, before all the layers were actually put together...still looks pretty much the same.

I have never even attempted to make a quilt before but I just doing a simple block pattern. I might be sending you a message/email if I get stuck though Helen
