The assignment was to take something from our bookstore and use it in the display. I chose zippers: It's not perfect, but I'm so freaking happy! (And, just to scale it, these are about 2-3 feet high, 1-2 feet long and 1 foot deep. Enjoy the feathery goodness! We got mohawks together but my workplace made me shave it off... It was very sad. Yesterday we perfected one of our songs and it gave me shivers. We landed a ton of 8 part harmonies between the 8 of us. Very very cool. IP: Logged

Especially those chills that you get when the harmonies sound so hauntingly beautiful. I'm going to live vicariously through you now. And I'll have to search my computer when I get home tonight, because I have a picture somewhere of me in my costume too. And Yero, I know how you feel. I do some merchandising with my work, but luckily I'm moving away from it more and sticking with good old fashioned advertising. ------------------ At the end of the day, if we don't hang together, we die alone. Actually, it's not as hard as it looks. I was sooo skeptical that I wouldn't be able to do it because I was so bent on the fact that I don't have enough upper body strength. Then, I conceded that it has nothing to do with strength and everything to do with balance. It's really easy once you accept that. I can't hold it for too long, but at least I can get there! I am the official speaker for the group. I act like a jester and make jokes... talk like I'm from some shakespeare comedy. That's why I get to dress in that crazy ensemble rather than the normal outfits. We have very mismatched outfits because these are what are left after 20 years of madrigal dinners. IP: Logged
