The line is:

It's Galinda, with a GA. And I don't see why you can't just teach us history instead of always harping on the past.

...because I'm weird like that.

It's not a quote but it still funny. When I seen the play in Chicago Annaleigh was Glinda and when she sang popular she did all of these wierd leg movments and she would bend her body in wierd positions. I was cracking up

No, I live in southwestern Michigan so Chicago isn't that far away. Is it true that Wicked is leaving Chicago in December?

Have any close friends in the military? They can get free rides on USAF planes. It'll take you anywhere you want for free.

Mmhm. Oh, that'll be a struggle. A sad struggle. Of course, we could always put on our own unofficial version...

I think Legally Blonde's coming to the Oriental Theater after Wicked leaves, though. So now I'm torn between liking it because I like the movie and hating it because it's not Wicked.

Why not?

I'm not entirely sure that that's what's happening, but I'm relatively certain I read it somewhere.

Hey! I have an idea! Why don't all of us who live in or close to Chicago all get together and go see Wicked's last performance in Chicago! That way we can meet each other in person AND see the show we all love! What do you think?

I know that this isn't directly from Wicked but I saw a hilarious joke on Family Guy last night. So the Griffin family are going to Brown University to try to get Meg in and then when they walk up to the Applications desk and Say we'd like to see the dean this guy dressed up in green walks comes up and says Nobady sees the dean! Not nobody not no how! and it made me laugh for like 10 minutes.

He says it right after popular. When they are in Doctor Dillamond's class and Elphaba tosses her hair
*She notices Fiyero watching her*
Elphaba-What?
Fiyero-Nothing, it's just...you've been "Galindafied".

"Oh stop your crying. You want to see your Aunt Em? Then get those shoes off your feet! Ugh. What kind of girl takes a dead woman's shoes? You must've been raised in a barn!" lol. Don't know if it's word for word but it's hilarious.

That's one of my favorite lines of the play! Another is when Glinda and Elphie are fighting in front of the house and Elphie says, "I know it may be hard for that blissful blonde brain to comprehend that someone like him could love someone like me....." I love that first part.

ok... so im lostladyknight in that i had never seen the show and knew it forwards, backwards and inside out lol
and i might mention that when my brother did in fact take me to see it 2 weeks ago with nicole parker and ally mauzey i was up for half the night speaking in ozian as much as possible
lol while i was sitting there though during defying gravity (which of course i have seen numerous times on youtube) i found myself pinching my arm to make sure a) i was really awake and b)really there
seeing it online didnt ruin it at all for me....
now for quotes
i 100% adore the lines
Fiyero: You think I'm really stupid
Elphaba: No, not REALLY stupid...

Galinda: That may be your secret Elphaba... but that doesn't make it true... POOOF!

Galinda:... I know clandestantly... SPARKLE! (lol love Kendra Kassebaum when she does that)

and last but not least when i saw the show Ally Mauzey had me in hysterics... she said
"Fiyero and I are going to be married!" and then ran over flopped onto the pillows on her bed and screamed for like a minute and a half at the top of her lungs! and then of course with a blink of an eye she was back on the bed next Nicole just beaming! lol

When Glinda announces the engagement and that the party was a surprise engagement party and then everyone goes "CONGROTULOTIONS" and the banner falls down saying it spelled like that.

That one made me laugh very hard. (CONGRATULOTIONS maybe not sure)

I love this one~

Glinda - "Have you ever considered how you'd fare in captivity?"
Madame Morrible - "What?"
Glinda - "Captivity....Prison....Personally I don't think you'll hold up very well. My personal opinion is that you do not have what it takes. I hope you prove me wrong. I doubt you will. Take her away!"

From a scene that was taken out in workshops and shown at Wicked Day in NY last year for 'The Yellow Brick Road Not Taken'.

Galinda: Well, if you want to borrow it ever it's here...
Elphaba: I will borrow your hat...when monkeys fly.

two favorites....

My personal opinion is you do not have what it takes. I hope you'll prove me wrong... I doubt you will.--Glinda

It's Glinda, the Ga is silent.

Yeah, just follow the yellow brick road, you'll find your way. I hope she will be okay, I am so bad at directions. Glinda

------------------
"What are you doing here" said NessaRose, "You've messed up everything." " Well as they say," replied Elphaba, "There's no place like home."

I don't think anyone's said this one yet...

Elphaba: Please, you'll barely even notice I'm gone. Besides, you have Fiyero. Where is he, anyway? Not that I expected him to say goodbye to me. We barely know each other.
Galinda: I don't know him either. He's distant, and moodified, and he's been thinking, which really worries me.
--
Then, of course...
Fiyero: Uh, listen, I've been thinking...
Elphaba: Yes, *beat* I've heard.

WICKED ROCKS!!!!! lol

I was exactly the same when the music for No One Mourns the wicked first came on..I was almost giggling, it was so surreal. I saw it on January 3 and I loved Kendra Kassebaum as Galinda!! Everything was super amazing and totally exceeded my expectations!!

My favorites are:

The artichoke is steamed..

No, I am not seasick, yes I am always green, no I didn't eat grass as a child..

Uh, I been thinking..
Yes, I've heard..

Galinda: You're whole life is going to change and all because of me! Now..I wrote a book, "How to be Popular". Now I've put together a top ten list I hope will help you. Elphie, every day...shower. I mean who knows?! Maybe some of that green's gonna come off! Deoderant Elphie, nobody likes a stinky witch! I think we've covered the hair, we'll get to that. Clean underclothes...that's all I'm gonna say. Look at your posture! That's no way to be popular! Bed made, room straightened, we've done that. Colours blended. The most important thing to have to make yourself popular is to keep your beautiful smile.
Elphaba: Thank you...

that's my fav.the Kristen Chenoweth

Fiyero: "I happen to be genuinely self absorbed and deeply... shallow"
(love that line it was great when Fiyero said that line

i like the part in act one when Elphaba and Fiyero are alone in the corn field stting the lion cub free. Elphaba keeps ranting on, and Fiyero wants to say something:

Fiyero: Do you ever let anyone else talk?
(silence.)
Elphaba: Can i just say one more thing?
