Fiyero's arrival= Galinda: Bick! (grabbing his arm) Do you realize who that is? Boq: (out of body) You're touching me This one isn't with Boq, or stage directions, but its really funny Inside the Wizard's palace= Glinda:I don't believe it. Is that...The Grimmerie!? When I saw Wicked on Broadway, during the Ozdust Ballroom scene, Elphie comes in wearing the hat Galinda gave her. When I saw it, when Elphie walked in a member of the company shouted "EW!" I thought it was REALLYfunny and so did my cousin, but i couldnt find it on websitesw or anything so I wanted to know if they said EW! when anyone else saw Wicked... Did they? IP: Logged
FabalaFae Moderator	posted 03-12-2008 06:05 PM Hmmm...well, here are the stage directions from the script I have for the opening night for that part: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ But as they (Fiyero and Galinda) make there way to the dance floor--THERE'S ELPHABA, standing in the entrance way, wearing the pointy black hat. All abruptly stop dancing, seeing her. There's a RIPPLE OF WHISPERED REACTIION. Elphaba slowly looks around the room. She can see that she's been tricked. Nessarose, mortified, buries her face in her hands. Seeing this, Elphaba takes the hat off her head, and starts toward her sister apologetically. But Nessarose wheels herself away angrily. Elphaba deliberately moves to the center of the room and stares directly at Galinda. Then, defiantly, still looking at Galinda, she puts the hat back on her head. And as everyone watches, she starts to dance by herself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ From this, I would say the student's saying EW would be alright. ------------------ IP: Logged

And I'm also pretty sure that they change little things in the script every production, so they probably did that when I saw it..
