Yeah but the sad fact is, not many movie going teens who don't like Broadway actually know of her. Although the ones who do (ahem, us) love her to death, we are in the minority. Ask a random person on the street who Idina Menzel is, chances are they won't know. Ask them who Eminem is, and...sigh, I really don't want to finish this sentence, please don't make me.

I agree; what if the movie is made ten years from now, which is most likely? Idina will be forty two...MUCH too old to play Elphaba. Kristin will be nearing fifty.

The rest of the cast begins to get a little harder expecially if you want to ahve a few big names in there to draw more of an audience. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we get to see this movie very soon.
