Plus if it's made in even five years they'll be OLD. Especially Norbert, Kristin...even Idina will be almost forty. So I'd say no way they'll make it with the OBC, but...it happened with Rent, so MAYBE.

And. Keep in mind (hopefully, hopefully) they'll make it based off the book!

Here's my cast:

Everyone except Elphaba and Glinda and Fiyero. and Nessarose, should have new "no one has heard of them names, and they'll be great" (like Harry potter, no one knew who THEY were...) oh and as for Elphie. Glinda. Fiyero. and Nessa: actully, because I have been disgusted by thought of EVER "hollywoodizing" Wicked.. the suggestions have been OKAY. I'm staying off that, but I do believe that Natalie portman... if she had brown hair, like Michelle Federer's, she'd be good. To play a Wicked Bitch of the East. (she always seemed like the "evil" type. please don't sue me for hypocricy at all in this post.)

oh and
as for:
Elphaba: Idina, or Ana.. Idina, well because she was the OBC. Ana ANa, I just think she has the lines down so well, she can punch them in the right places, and just have it either be so funny, so meaningful, or so sad. I think she'd definatly be a good one. Also, when I think of Wicked being a Movie, I mainly think of Shiz.

Glinda: I honestly don't know. HAS to be Blonde. HAS to be SHORT. HAS to be like Kate Reinder's reactions, Kristen Chenoweth's confusion. (If that makes sense at all.)

Fiyero: okay my criteria: MUST BE exteremly GOOD LOOKING! (and has to be able to Act. **AHEM**) Other than that, I really don't know. He has to be very kind of senstive, but idiotic at the same time... (lightbulb) I just thought of someone I know who could play Fiyero... (never mind I won't go into that I'm ranting as it is)

Even if they have to switch the cast to big names then u could still use carol cane (kane w/e) As morrible she has been in many movies (The pacifire, Teenage drama queen...etc)

That's another reason why I like Jasper Fforde's books...you could so NOT make a movie out of them. It would be like impossible.

And...I like some Hollywood actors/actresses for Hollywood. Wicked is a musical. It's Broadway. I think Ralph Fiennes is the greatest actor in roughly the entire world, but would I want to see him as the Wizard in ten years? No.

Yes, they don't have all the special effects that movies have. But if "Wicked" was a movie, half of the movie would be special effects. Shot against nothing but blue screen.

Elphaba-1st choice would be Idina, also maybe Kate Winslet (just a thought)

Glinda- Reese Witherspoon. No one else. Period.

Fiyero- Matt Damon

Nessarose- Natalie Portman, definitely.

Wizard- Joel Grey, probably. Anthony Hopkins sounds intersting, but he's far too regal to be a cornfed charaltan like the wizard.
