GLINDA::::::
Reese Witherspoon can sing, but I don't know if she's a soprano. And she's in her 30's. But I think she can pull off a great Glinda. She's played blonde before however and has expressed her feeelings about reprising the blonde role after having done the Legally Blonde films.
Hayden Panettiere (t.v show Heroes) --Age 17 has sung a few covers for Disney, however I'm not sure she could hit the really high notes that made Kristin's character so wonderful. She is coming out with a cd, maybe we can get a better idea of her vocal range as Disney songs are usually really simple and don't showcase the singer's voice well enough.

NESSAROSE::::::
Vanessa Anne Hudgens (High School Musical)-- Age 18 as Nessa, because I don't think she's be suitable as Elphaba and Nessa's notes are pretty simple to follow.

ELPHABA::::::
As for Elphaba, it would have to be an alto, though I can't figure out which actress could hold a candle to Idina's performance. Anne Hathaway? She has sung before, although I don't know if she is an alto or soprano. She is an excellent acress however.

As for Fiyero and Boz, most of these might sound silly, but I've heard the sing and personally I think that Brendon Urie and Patrick Stump are two of the most amazing male vocalists of today.

FIYERO::::::
Brenden Urie(lead singer of Panic! At the Disco)-- Age 19 would do well as Fiyero. He has a great voice, however he has never acted, so that might be the only factor that will keep him from being Fiyero.

BOQ::::::
Patrick Stump (lead singer of Fall Out Boy) --Age 22 has an amazing voice, however I picture him more as a Boq than a Fiyero mainly because he has been known as the shy one in the band.
Lucas Gabreel(High School Musical) -- Age 21. He is a pretty decent actor and its pretty obviouse that he can sing. He did that whole push over thin in HSM pretty well.
Zac Effron (High School Musical) -- Age 19 as well. He is a bass however his voice was blended for HSM to sound like that of a tenor. Therefore it's hard to tell if he could pull off Boq or Fiyero.
Neither of them strike me as the leading male for Wicked. It would have to be someone who can be suave, self absorbed and shallow whilst still being able to show a deeper, more human side of Fiyero. Although he could probably pull of the scarecrow look in the end. . .

MADAM MORRIBLE ::::::
I know she can no longer sing, but I would love to see Julie Andrews as Madame Morrible, mainly because I have never seen her portray a villain (has she?)
Minnie Driver could also probably play Madame Morrible, or play Elphie and Nessa's mother as the character was supposed to be dark haired
Helena Bonham Carter-- Great actress. same opinion as Minnie Driver.
Maggie Smith might also make a good Morrible.
Helen Mirren -- love her!

THE WIZARD OF OZ
Michael Cane!!!! -- enough said.
MAYBE Jack Nicholson, however Cane seems like he could possible be a better wizard that Nicholson.

Jessica simpons as Glinda?

only joking God forbid she play glinda i dont think i could take 2 seconds of her breathy glinda before I go beserk and trash the theatre and go in a corner and cry.

I read people suggesting Hilary Duff?
I doubt she could portray Glinda ditzy. too pop princess and I don't think she could reach Kristin's high notes.

But hey, what y'all think of Brendon Urie for Fiyero? He's handsome, and he has a great singing voice. Acting wise, I don't know I've never seen him act save for his music videos and it was ok. Then again all music video acting is ok. Not great, just ok.

Of coures it''s fake, we've all seen that footage and since a movie is not even in preproductiont there can't be a trailer yet. Besides, it wouldn't be a Disney Productionn, It would be a Universal Pictures Production.

Don't worry, a movie it's coming, Hairspray is in post-production and Mama Mia will soon be in production... I'm sure Wicked is in mind.

BUT....if Idina and Kristin are in it.....Well.....I guarantee you that I would see it at least 5 times in the theater, I would own it when it came out on DVD, I would buy the MOVIE SOUNDTRACK (even though I own the Broadway Soundtrack....AND....I would download it off of ITunes when it became available!!!!

Now...this is HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO HAVE IDINA and KRISTIN in the Movie!!!!

Also...for those of you who don't remember, Elphie and Galinda start out as College age Girls and grow into adults.....there is no age-limit on this! It is timeless....and Idina and Kristin "grew" with the characters!
